Local Sounds is excited to announce the arrival of a much needed update to its core website, www.localsounds.org. The primary goal of version 3.0 of the Local Sounds website was to deliver a simple, yet functional Web 2.0-ish website that was clean and easy to use. With the launch of the new website, we feel that we have accomplished just that.
The new LocalSounds.org features a large introduction block at the top of the home page that immediately lets you know what Local Sounds is, and gives you the option to learn more beyond the basics stated there. The home page also has a list of projects the organization is currently working on, a news feed that displays the latest blog post from the official Local Sounds Blog at http://blog.localsounds.org, a Twitter status display, a MAMAs supporter badge, and a better utilized footer space.
What do you think of the new site? Please feel free to leave comments and other feedback in the comments below!
